The Creative Exchange is dedicated to providing young people with exciting opportunities to explore their creativity, develop new skills, and connect with others in their community. From cutting-edge technology to hands-on artistic workshops, our projects aim to inspire and engage young minds in dynamic and inclusive ways.
Northfleet Youth Clubs (November 2022)
We partnered with Northfleet Youth Club to deliver two unforgettable evenings of creativity and fun:
VR Experience Night: Young people were invited to dive into immersive virtual reality experiences, giving them the chance to explore this cutting-edge technology in a supportive and fun environment. With pizza and drinks provided, the evening was both engaging and sociable, offering a unique activity that many attendees were experiencing for the first time.
SEND Youth Group – Tribal Jewellery Workshop: For the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) youth group, we collaborated with a talented local jewellery artist to host a tribal jewellery-making workshop. Participants learned about different tribal art styles and created their own unique pieces to take home. The combination of hands-on creativity, expert guidance, and, of course, pizza made the session a hit with everyone involved.
Swanscombe VR Open Day (November 2022)
At the CAS Community Centre in Swanscombe, we organised a VR open day that welcomed young people and families to explore the possibilities of virtual reality. The event provided a space for attendees to engage with VR technology, connect with one another, and experience the joy of learning something new together.
This open day emphasised accessibility and community, inviting participants to meet their neighbours while trying out innovative, creative tools that many hadn’t encountered before.
Through these projects, The Creative Exchange continues to empower young people in Ebbsfleet and the surrounding areas by offering them access to new experiences and creative outlets.
